Historical outdoor tour

St. Helen’s Island by snowshoe

For Spring Break, take part on an outdoor historical snowshoe tour on the trails on St. Helen’s Island. Guided by a Cultural mediator, discover the historical heritage of the military buildings on the island and walk up the Mont-Boullé to the Tour de Lévis.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of snowshoeing, from its origins with the Indigenous people to the pioneers of New France as well as its evolution from the 16th century to the present day.

Sundays, March 1 and 8, 2020
In English at 1 p.m.
In French at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Duration: 45 to 60 minutes
$10 per family**

Equipment provided free of charge. (Aluminium snowshoe)
Recommended for adults with children aged 7 and over.
Free activity for children aged 12 and under.

*In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the activity will be offered as a hike or cancelled.
**Family fee is valid for 2 adults and 3 children 17 and under, or 1 adult and 4 children 17 and under.
